When opposing against UMNO President Najib Razak, Muhyiddin and Mukhriz seems fond of chanting that their freedom of expression are not obstructed since supposedly that their voices were of the grassroots and the need to know the “real thing” is paramount. The exact demands are now coming from their new PPBM Youth Exco. Would Muhyiddin and Mukhriz adopt the same stance to their people?
It is easier said than done, isn’t it? Both are now leading a splinter party from UMNO, they are confronted by their youth wing Exco demanding to clarify allegations of the Chairman Dr Mahathir’s sons instant wealth while the need for Muhyiddin to deal with allegations of his scandal with a Chinese lady.
To ARMADA EXCO surprise and most disheartening to them, instead of providing straight answers, Mukhriz took a brash step to accuse them as UMNO lackey in the party and worst still when Hafiz will be facing disciplinary action. To another Armada Exco Mohamad Taufik Abas, this is regarded as a betrayal and a deception to them when Hafiz ought to be defended.
But to their Chiefs Muhyiddin and Mukhriz, to take action against these young leaders in their party is necessary where discipline is essential and the party ought to be governed with regulatory. Is it so or is this how Muhyiddin and Mukhriz wish to avoid from entertaining their grassroots grievances on the party’s shortcomings and hence discipline the members by gagging order?
Everyone knew that almost every other day, there will be their members expressing dissatisfaction with Muhyidddin’s leadership. It is not a few but has brought a wave out of the party in large scale, from one division to the other.
No matter what their excuses are to discipline their members, what is obvious is both Muhyiddin and Mukhriz are irritated. They are now tasting their own medicine when now the open attacks are from their own arena. All at once, the duo only realized that to act with decorum is the right approach rather than to hit out wild allegations in the public.
To those young leaders in PPBM, do not frustrate yourself to expect either Dr Mahathir or Muhyiddin to fulfill your queries. There is nothing secretive about those questions forwarded when the rakyat too has been waiting for the truth. Instead of answering to their questions, these young leaders are hurled with various charges and is likely to end up deprived of their positions or even expulsion from the party.
There is nothing much to hold on to this nepotism party. It is not surprising that more from the grassroots leaders and members begin to open their eyes and are aware of how hypocritical the struggle would be. Thus, stop blaming UMNO when many would eventually leave the party after all it was just a show to fulfill certain quarter’s personal interests.
