It seems that Rafizi alone is overly concerned if Adam Rosly’s MACC charges against his unusual wealth will be leveraged by PKR and Pakatan Harapan political rivals which certainly comes from Barisan Nasional component parties and perhaps now including PAS too. Wondering if his incitements are no longer effective?Accordingly, PKR is urged to distance from what is considered by Rafizi as “individual” wrongdoings plaguing their Ampang PKR Youth Chief, Adam Rosly. It is either a joint decision of PKR leadership may allow Adam to take leave and vacate his position until his case is completed or by PKR’s Disciplinary Board as suggested by Azmin.
Whatever the decisions are, PKR is seriously concerned to avoid from dragging up Pakatan Harapan into corruption cases and matters involved with illegality.
If Rafizi and PKR leaders needed to be reminded, is Anwar Ibrahim who is at present detained in Sungai Buloh prison for sexual crimes, not their leader too? Has PKR or Pakatan Harapan been distancing from him? Anwar was found guilty and sentenced while Adam Rosly was only prosecuted and he still stands a chance to defend himself in court.
Why is Anwar who is patently guilty but remained celebrated and his defacto leader position is still intact while a subordinate member that is indefinite guilty, then acted upon? Is PKR adopting favouritism in their actions?
Rafizi attached great importance to moral standards and trusteeship held by PKR must be higher than other parties. Without realising it, Rafizi and PKR are allowing sexual crime and Anwar’s unusual lust for the same gender as PKR’s moral standards too. Whereas, Adam is only facing charges against his unusual wealth.
At this juncture, Adam is charged in the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on six counts of giving false evidence and documents to MACC and if found guilty, he will face penalties under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Acts 2001 (AMLATFPUAA).
Rafizi too has deliberately missed out MACC charges against Guan Eng who has been representing DAP in every Pakatan Harapan’s decisions. Guan Eng who is now facing charges of his corruption and misused of power as Penang Chief Minister is another similar case to Adam. The only difference is, Guan Eng is the secretary-general for DAP and Adam is only PKR’s subordinate.
If Rafizi ostensibly wanted to demonstrate decisiveness and sincerity not to drag Pakatan Harapan into Adam Rosly case, why are Guan Eng and DAP not included in his moral standards?
For all we know and it is already an open secret that Rafizi is in conflict with Azmin Ali. That is why everything that is said about PKR and Pakatan Harapan moral standards is easily disputed. The more Rafizi comparing PKR to other political parties and in particular Barisan Nasional, he is just portraying himself equivalent to a buffoon who is shrouded with resentment and vexation that is personal against his own peer within the party, Azmin Ali.
In the name of fairness as depicted by Parti Keadilan Rakyat, Adam Rosly who is only a low-rank leader in the party must be expelled but their supreme leader who is now behind bars for his crimes is celebrated, are these their equitable practices?
