180 DEGREES U-TURN, DAP ADMITTING TO CHINA’S ONE BELT ONE ROAD INITIATIVE

Slapping their own faces repeatedly and shamelessly have now turned as DAP’s rule of thumb. After numerous insults and criticism on PM Najib’s bilateral cooperation with The Republic of China and in particular China’s One Belt One Road initiative, now DAP has agreed to support them when their entourage recently paid a courtesy visit to Chinese envoy Huang Huikang. Led by Guan Eng, DAP admitted they were exchanging views on various issues and interestingly they are keen to participate in China’s One Belt One Road for investment in Penang.

The visit has drawn flak among netizens questioning whether DAP has now U-turn when realising that not only they have missed the boat but has lagged far behind while MCA has compiled 10 steps further in their concerted effort in leading businesses and upgrade Malaysia-China bilateral ties. Hence, DAP is unable to deny this any longer.

Before DAP would claim that they too welcome investments from China just to look good in the local Chinese community, they should sort to answer these questions.

First of all, when the leaders of PPBM particularly Dr Mahathir and Muhyiddin has issued a statement claiming that the investment from China will simply rob the rice bowls of local Malaysians while the government is committing into trading the nation’s sovereignty to China including their accusations that 700,000 Chinese are imported into our country to be Malaysia citizens, DAP was silent without denying them and some of their leaders would even issue “beating around the bush” statements.

All are meant to demonise PM Najib’s administration bilateral efforts and incite hatred against the Republic of China itself among Malay nationalists and anti-China. Is DAP telling Malaysians that Dr Mahathir and Muhyiddin accusations are wrong and baseless?

Next, DAP is reminded of their political education bureau chief, Liew Chin Tong criticism the government’s effort led by MCA in promoting One Belt One Road was akin to communism’s agent. Does Liew now endorse government’s effort of promoting One Belt One Road and acknowledged his earlier critique are a mere pack of lies?

However, after visiting the Chinese envoy in a high profile manner, DAP leaders changed their attitude by 180 degrees.

Hypocrisy among DAP leaders are very evident even towards Dr Mahathir including their political associates. When DAP wanted to please the Malay nationalists, they would not hesitate to show support PPBM’s anti-China but on the other hand, when they are in need to look good in the local Chinese community, they would sing into an opposite tune to even pay a courtesy call to the Chinese envoy and claimed to be part of Malaysia-China ties.

Can the opposition supporters now comprehend DAP leaders’ true colours? Failing to do so, leave them alone to be deeper embedded into DAP specious political games.
