A never-before-seen Vanity Fair photo of the Oscar winner wrapped in nothing but giant Colombian red-tailed boa constrictor is bound to be the hottest thing you’ll see all day!
Photographer Patrick Demarchelier snapped the shot – an homage to the 1981 Richard Avedon Vogue portrait of Nastassja Kinski – back in July and just released it on Friday. The shot was part of the actress’ November 2014 cover shoot, but was never used.
“Jennifer has the perfect combination of strength, sexuality, and humor, and, above all, tomboy to pull this off,” V.F. fashion and style director Jessica Diehl said.
“The Hunger Games” star did have one scary moment, the mag revealed. At one point during the session, the python “took a fancy to her neck” (can you blame a snake for trying?!) and was quickly put back in his box.
The racy, slithery Jen shot will appear in Vanity Fair’s March 2015 issue.
